MOZAIK

The three courses we developed provided the opportunity to merge technical expertise with participatory learning, strengthen cross-border cooperation between Croatia and Serbia, and build capacity among local institutions and professionals. Collaboration among MOZAIK Institute, the Creative Educational Center, and E-NERGY NGO proved highly complementary – combining pedagogical innovation, design excellence, and energy expertise.

The first course, Green Public Spaces: Designing for Comfort, Beauty, and Sustainability, was conducted as an in-person training in Novi Sad, at Svilara Cultural Station on 19.09.2025, emphasizing participatory design, inclusive urban planning, and microclimate-sensitive approaches.

The second, Energy Efficiency in Everyday Life: How to Improve Our Homes and Public Buildings, was delivered as a seminar at Svilara Cultural Station on 18.09.2025 in Novi Sad, but will act as a self-paced digital training aimed at citizens and local communities, providing accessible guidance on reducing household and small-building energy consumption.

The third, Sustainable Business in Construction: Market, Innovation, and EU Standards, introduced SMEs to EU and national green building policies, digital construction tools, and circular economy principles.
