Outreach

NEBA establishes a primary contact point for outreach to and coordination with other European projects, networks, initiatives, and key stakeholders in research, education, and policy: the EU Outreach Hub. The networking and outreach actions of the project are designed to attain the largest possible group of candidates, raise awareness and develop business opportunities for both educators and companies, within Europe and beyond.

InnovaWood, Belgium

InnovaWood is the European network for wood research, innovation and education with 70+ member organisations in 30 countries of Europe. IW chairs the Wood4Bauhaus Alliance of five European umbrella organisations in the wood sector. The network has 70+ member organisations in 30 countries, including RTO, higher education institutions, clusters VET centres, all related to the wood sector. InnovaWood connects innovation actors and stakeholders, supports the communication of EU-funded projects and engages in policy advocacy together with industry associations, other research networks and interest groups on both national and EU level.

EAAE | European Association for Architectural Education, Belgium

EAAE European Association for Architectural Education is an international organisation of 150+ architectural schools aiming to advance the quality of architectural education and to promote the quality of architecture in Europe.

BOKU / European Bioeconomy University, Austria

BOKU / European Bioeconomy University (EBU) is a network of eight leading universities in all sectors of the bioeconomy. EBU members share knowledge and educational formats, supporting each other in EU projects under Horizon, Erasmus, Marie Curie-Sklodoswka and other programmes. The BOKU University in Vienna holds the current presidency.

In Ukraine the NEB community will be strengthened, the knowledge base expanded, and activities towards developing an NEB Academy Hub in Ukraine accelerated and readied for implementation.

Wood4Bauhaus

Wood Sector Alliance for the New European Bauhaus
Coalition with the main EU wood sector umbrella organisations CEI-Bois, EPF, EOS, EFBWW and InnovaWood, connecting research, industry and trade unions. W4B is a full NEB partner and engages in open policy dialogue with all interested stakeholders to help sharing good practices about the Circular Economy and Green Buildings to maximise the use of nature-based materials, innovative building systems and smart solutions for the benefit of European citizens. 6 members, chaired by InnovaWood, BE.

WoodPop

European Wood Policy Platform (WoodPoP)
Multilateral, pan-European innovative policy dialogue on sustainable wood and circular bioeconomy. Initiative liaising with 27 member states, chaired by the International Union of Forest Research (IUFRO), based in Vienna/Austria.

Main outcomes and synergies with NEBA: WoodPop has set up five Technical Working Groups (TWG), which develop joint activities, recommendations and policy solutions on specific matters. Participation is open to representatives from public and private sector, interest groups, research organizations and networks, government officials and invited experts. Of special relevance for NEBA are TWG3 ‘Innovation and Research’ and TWG4 ‘Education and Vocational Training’, which is chaired by InnoRenew CoE.
